The PfS Model is designed to give the community
a framework with which to look at issues in
a universal way. The Needs Assessment Committee
will continue to work on data collection and
analysis. At present, the group recommends focusing
beginning efforts on Substance Abuse and Behaviors
Associated with Mental Illness by increasing
Protective Factors and Decreasing Risk Factors.
