protective factors
and assets (RPA): Access to quality mental health.
Priority RPA: Access to quality mental health services.
Strategies are created to impact RPAs
(Example: to reduce risks or increase protective factors).
Therefore, Hocking County explored strategies to provide
better access to quality mental health (priority RPA).
Identify Areas of High Risk: Middle and high school. Gaps: After school.
Alternative School (Identify students). Ages 10-18.
We have chosen in Hocking County to focus resources on gaps and high-risk areas identified.
Data Support: Number of referrals/intakes.
Attendance at scheduled appointments.
Systems: The mental health service most needed is prevention and early intervention.
Goal: The Hocking County PFS mental health priority is to improve access to mental health (RPA) by expanding prevention and early intervention programming available in identified areas of high risk (middle and high school, alternative school and after school).
